Although widespread throughout Malaysia, Southern Thailand and parts of Indonesia, not much is known so far on the ecology and behavior of Macaca nemestrina in the wild.

With this project, we aim at studying 3-4 groups in their natural environment to foster our understanding of this species and primate evolution more generally.
